When the warmer weather arrives, everyone wants to celebrate outside, and as fun as it can be for people, balloons don't feel the same way, in fact they hate it! 

So it is our responsibility to warn you about the risks you might encounter with your outdoor decor.

 Direct Sunlight/Heat: We recommend placing the balloons in shaded areas, as direct sunlight for short periods of time can cause balloons to expand beyond their limits and pop. We don’t recommend they stay outside in direct sunlight for more than 30 minutes if the weather is over 80 degrees . Darker balloon colors absorb the heat more so you may want to consider lighter colors. 

We work with the highest quality of professional balloons, and take every precaution possible, to make sure your balloons last as much as possible, however, it is still possible that you experience some balloon popping. 

Wind/Rain: We use heavy sand weights with all of our backdrop installations, and we will do everything in our power to make sure your decor is safe, and lasts throughout your event, however, there is always the possibility that mother nature might still win, and a strong wind gust might still be able to take structures down.   

 Our garlands are not made to withstand medium to strong winds. We will take precaution by attaching your garland in as many spots as possible but strong gusts of wind can still shift the garland during your event. Garlands are also not meant to last overnight and are not advised for multi-day events if installed outdoors. If installed near gardens, light fixtures, brick walls, wooden structures, etc. Parts of the garland could bump against them from a strong breeze and cause some of the garland to pop.  

PLEASE NOTE: We will be unable to provide any refunds if balloons in the garland pop or if the garland falls after we have completed installation at your event. 

Outdoor setup fee: Outdoor decor require twice as much work and effort to install. We are out there, wrestling with the wind, the scorching sun, getting eaten by mosquitos (don't forget about the bees, wasp and spiders out there too!), while still working hard to ensure we provide you with our very best decor possible, therefore, the setup fee for outdoor events starts at $150.

ADDITIONAL DISCLAIMERS

Sweet Parties by Jen does not participate in balloon releases of any kind, regardless of the number of balloons requested by the Client. Sweet parties by Jen has the right to refuse or book a service involving balloon releases.  

Children and Pets: Because of the danger of suffocation and choking hazard, adult supervision is required. Children under 9 years of age and pets can choke on uninflated or broken balloons. Keep uninflated and broken balloons away from children and pets. Discard broken balloons immediately in a proper trash receptacle. The Client is responsible for supervising all use, and preventing all misuse or abuse of balloons, equipment and materials related to the event.
